AMC’s Immortal Universe will continue later this year with a new season of Mayfair Witches, subtitled Salem Coven, according to a panel at New York Comic Con on Friday.
The trailer released after the panel shows the series moving to Salem, a city historically linked to witchcraft, and introduces a new character, Jessica, described as a Salem‑born witch unaware of her captivity.
Co‑showrunner Esta Spalding said the team is not following the books verbatim, noting the new characters are “inspired by” the source material. Executive producer Mark Johnson added that the setting lets Rowan (Alexandra Daddario) become “much more badass” and interact with more witches.
Mayfair Witches: Salem Coven is scheduled to premiere on December 30 on AMC and AMC+.
