JustWatch launches ad‑supported streaming service with 30 content partners
The new service aims to expand JustWatch’s advertising business and audience data capabilities.

JustWatch Group rolled out its ad‑supported streaming platform, JustWatch TV, on Tuesday, Oct. 20, with 30 content partners worldwide, according to Variety and Ars Technica.
What happened
The service debuted directly through the existing JustWatch apps and website. Variety listed Cineverse as the U.S. partner, Leonine Studios for Germany, SND for France and Altitude for the United Kingdom and Ireland, alongside previously announced partners Paramount, New Regency, Fremantle, Bleecker Street and Vortex Media. Ars Technica noted the same total of 30 partners and highlighted Paramount and New Regency among the global lineup.
What the reports add
Variety provided the regional breakdown of partners, naming Cineverse, Leonine, SND and Altitude, while Ars Technica focused on the overall count and the inclusion of Paramount and New Regency. Both outlets confirm the launch date and that the service is advertising‑based video on demand (AVOD). No source gave a precise catalogue size, though Ars Technica quoted SVP Quentin Carbonell saying the service offers “a few hundred titles across” its tiers.
What was said
“The launch of JustWatch TV marks the most important new development in our company’s 12‑year history, and it’s only the start,” said David Croyé, founder and CEO of JustWatch Group, as reported by Variety.
“[JustWatchTV] will provide even deeper audience data and insights for JustWatch Media,” the company announcement read, cited by Ars Technica.
“The service has a few hundred titles across its different tiers,” SVP Quentin Carbonell told StreamTV Insider, per Ars Technica.
How it came about
JustWatch has long operated a streaming guide that aggregates content across platforms. The group says the guide reaches 50 million customers and that the new AVOD service will feed audience data into its advertising arm, JustWatch Media, to support campaign planning for studios and agencies. The launch follows broader industry moves to address streaming fragmentation, such as the Streaming Access and Choice Alliance formed by Netflix, YouTube and Amazon earlier this year (Felo coverage).
