What happened
Rumors that Serfaty and Del Vecchio were expecting a child surfaced in August 2026, after the pair’s breakup in 2024. The rumors were traced to an Italian journalist and then spread on social media and Reddit. In response, Serfaty said, “Not pregnant. Most definitely not with Leo.” She also claimed Del Vecchio leaked false information to online sites that portray her as a “hooker, liar and a prostitute.”

The New York Times obtained audio recordings in which crisis‑communications operative Jed Wallace discusses boosting the visibility of websites targeting Serfaty. The Times reported that Wallace said Del Vecchio paid him for the smear plot in 2024. The Hollywood Reporter later released a voice memo in which Wallace mentions a tracking device placed in Serfaty’s car and says, “My guys were there,” implying contacts within the LAPD.
