Apple has made a staging page live on its online store where shoppers can save their preferred iPhone Duo configuration – colour, storage, carrier and payment method – ahead of the official preorder opening at 5 a.m. PT on Friday, Oct. 16, CNET reported.

The iPhone Duo, unveiled at Apple’s Surprise and Shine event in Cupertino, is the company’s first foldable phone. It features a 7.6‑inch display that folds to a passport‑size form, supports split‑screen multitasking, Apple Pencil and runs iOS 27. Pricing starts at $1,999 for 512 GB and tops out at $3,199 for 2 TB.

Apple’s new CEO John Ternus introduced the device, and CNET notes that early demand is expected to be high, making the pre‑save option a practical step for eager buyers.
