The Indian Golf Premier League (IGPL) will resume in Delhi this week, with the IGPL Invitational 2026 scheduled at Qutab Golf Course, according to a press release cited by News18.
Varun Chopra, fresh from winning the IGPL title at Al Hamra Golf Club in Ras Al Khaimah, will face Shiv Kapur, who finished two shots behind Chopra after a dramatic final round. Both players arrive in the capital to contest the tournament, while Gaganjeet Bhullar of Vimtra Chennai Lions GC also joins the field.
Chopra secured his maiden IGPL crown with a closing 4‑under 68, finishing at 14‑under 202, after overtaking Kapur, who had opened with a 10‑under 62 and led by three after 36 holes. Kapur, a 2002 Asian Games gold medallist, will play for the home‑based RVR Delhi Blue Bulls, a franchise that includes Asian Tour winners Gaurav Ghei and Chiragh Kumar.
The Delhi Blue Bulls captured the team honours in the previous week’s event, edging out Chopra’s Auro Goa Eagles. The franchise is positioning itself around Kapur’s experience and local identity to engage the city’s golfing community.
