Atlanta rapper Gunna announced the creation of his own imprint, SB The Label, in partnership with Atlantic Records on Oct. 9, 2026, and released the accompanying single “Pop It” with a high‑budget video featuring American tennis star Coco Gauff, Billboard reported.

What happened

During New York Fashion Week on Sept. 8, Gunna attended the 19th Annual Harlem’s Fashion Row Fashion Show & Style Awards. The following week, he officially launched SB The Label, signing emerging acts Casper Bluff, Dracc and Nechie, who previously collaborated on the 2025 track “I Can’t Feel My Face.” On the same day, Gunna debuted the “Pop It” visual, which opens with Gauff serving a tennis ball that Gunna returns into the net, set against a chandelier‑lit court and a cliffside mansion.

What the reports add

Billboard noted that the video includes a damask‑carpet tennis surface, a chopper arrival, exotic sports cars, and a scene where Gunna shatters a wine glass held by a butler after a volley. The outlet also mentioned Gunna’s prior 2025 album The Last Wun, which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with 80,000 album‑equivalent units.

What was said

Gunna said, “SB The Label represents the beginning of a new chapter for me,” in a statement to Billboard. Atlantic Music Group CEO Elliot Grainge added, “It’s impossible to overstate Gunna’s influence on this generation of hip‑hop and music as a whole.”

How it came about

The launch follows Gunna’s September announcement of his upcoming Splurge album and a vague Forbes interview where he hinted at label negotiations. The new imprint marks his first venture as a label boss, expanding beyond his previous releases on Young Thug’s YSL imprint and 300 Entertainment.
