UAE residents can obtain free clinical breast examinations and mammograms at a series of clinics across all seven emirates during October, Gulf News reported.

The Pink Caravan initiative, run by Sharjah‑based charity Friends of Cancer Patients, launches its 2026 campaign on Oct. 1 and will operate over 75 fixed and mobile clinic activations, including workplace visits and community events.

Fixed clinics will be located in malls such as Mushrif Mall (Abu Dhabi), Mall of Al Ain (Al Ain), City Walk (Dubai), Al Majaz Waterfront (Sharjah) and others in Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. Mobile and mini‑mobile clinics will travel to residential neighbourhoods, universities and government sites.

A three‑day community event at Aljada, Sharjah, runs Oct. 2‑4, offering free exams, workshops and entertainment.

Aisha Al Mulla, director of Friends of Cancer Patients, said early detection is a key tool for improving outcomes and the campaign aims to make screening accessible to families and communities.
