Erica Campbell’s label settles royalty dispute with SRG/ILS

My Block Inc. dismissed its suit against SRG/ILS after a settlement, ending a dispute over royalty statements for the 2023 album “I Love You.”

By Felo News Desk · Published

Billboard reported that My Block Inc., the label founded by gospel singer Erica Campbell and producer Warryn Campbell, voluntarily dismissed its lawsuit against digital distributor SRG/ILS Group on Oct. 2, 2026, after the parties reached a settlement.

What happened

The label had sued SRG/ILS in mid‑September, alleging that the distributor failed to provide any royalty statements for Campbell’s 2023 album I Love You. The filing said the label sought at least $1 million in damages for breach of contract. Two weeks later, a court filing noted the plaintiff’s voluntary dismissal without prejudice, indicating a settlement had been reached. Settlement terms were not disclosed.

What the reports add

Billboard noted that SRG/ILS issued a statement saying it was pleased to have resolved the matter and wished My Block continued success. The statement did not comment on the settlement amount. My Block’s attorney, Christopher Brown, declined to discuss the agreement.

What was said

SRG/ILS told Billboard, “SRG is pleased to announce that it has resolved the matter with My Block Inc. With the matter now resolved, SRG wishes My Block Inc. continued success and the very best in all future endeavors.”

How it came about

The dispute follows a distribution partnership between My Block and SRG/ILS that ran from 2021 to 2024, during which the label released several chart‑topping gospel projects but says it never received royalty statements. Earlier Felo coverage detailed the September lawsuit filing.
