Koei Tecmo has announced technical details for the Switch 2 version of Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered, slated for release on 1 October 2026. The game will run at a variable frame rate between 30 and 60 frames per second and will support a 2560×1440 resolution in docked mode, with a 1920×1080 upscaled resolution in handheld mode.

The developer said the title will use Unreal Engine 5 to recreate the original game’s officers and battlefields, aiming for realistic graphics and an updated action system that preserves the classic 1‑vs‑1,000 battles. A future update may add a graphics/performance mode toggle, though it will not be available at launch.
