Dubai Ride, the flagship event of the 10th Dubai Fitness Challenge, will host its first Dress Your Ride competition on Sunday, November 1, offering Dh10,000 prizes in four categories, Khaleej Times reported.
What happened
The free community ride will transform Sheikh Zayed Road into a 25km cycling track, with two routes: a 12km route for experienced riders and a 4km family‑friendly loop. Participants must register online, collect bibs at the Dubai Municipality 30x30 Fitness Village between Oct 28‑31, and adhere to a 25km/h speed limit.
What the reports add
Khaleej Times notes that the competition allows cyclists to decorate their bikes, dress up, or combine both, and entries will be photographed on the day. Prizes of Dh10,000 each will be awarded for best overall bike, most creative theme, best family costume and best group costume. The outlet also mentions that last year more than 40,000 cyclists took part, double the inaugural 2020 edition.
