A senior director of academic collaboration technology at the City University of New York, Krafins Valcin, is accused in a lawsuit of groping, harassing and exposing his genitals to a 34‑year‑old IT senior associate after a Manhattan happy‑hour on Dec. 2, 2025.
What happened
According to the complaint filed on Sept. 29 in Manhattan Supreme Court, the two employees, both New Jersey residents, carpooled home from the event. During the ride, Valcin allegedly made a vulgar comment, grabbed the woman’s fingers and later forced his hand onto her thigh, moving toward her genitals. He then allegedly parked in front of her car at a Newark train station, opened her driver’s‑side door, and forced her hand over his erect penis, saying, “This is what you do to me.” The woman escaped, reported the incident to Newark police, and later filed the suit.
What the report adds
The NY Post notes that a source familiar with the case said the police dropped the investigation because of a lack of video evidence. The complaint also states the employee contacted CUNY’s Title IX office in January, received a no‑contact order in February, but Valcin remains in his position.
What was said
The lawsuit quotes Valcin as saying, “I can tell you have a fat p—y,” and later, “This is what you do to me.” The accuser, whose name is withheld, described being “utterly shocked” by the comments and actions.
How it came about
The alleged assault followed months of routine collaboration between the two staff members. After the incident, the employee suffered panic attacks, prompting her to seek help from CUNY’s Title IX office, which issued a no‑contact order that apparently did not affect Valcin’s employment status.
