Caroline Dubois told the Press Association that she would love to see herself and her brother Daniel become the "faces of boxing and British boxing" after his rematch with Fabio Wardley at The O2 this Saturday, according to the Independent.
Daniel Dubois is set to defend his WBO heavyweight title against Wardley, a bout that follows their thrilling May clash at Co‑op Live in Manchester. The fight comes after Daniel rebuilt his career following a loss to Oleksandr Usyk last year.
Caroline, the WBC and WBO lightweight champion, said the idea of a brother‑sister pair holding undisputed titles in their respective divisions would be "awesome and really cool" and might be unprecedented. She added that she would be "very happy" to see the siblings dominate the sport together.
Speaking about her brother, Caroline praised his willingness to take on the toughest opponents, recalling his amateur rivalry with Viddal Riley and his decision to stay in the heavyweight division despite suggestions to move down. She said, "Daniel has done a really good job of rebuilding himself time and time again and being brave… He always throws himself into the hardest fights and never runs from anyone."
Both Dubois siblings have plans for 2027, with Caroline aiming to retain her lightweight titles and Daniel seeking revenge against Wardley, who will try to regain the belt.
