A passenger bus collided with a car on a road linking Gaziantep and Osmaniye in Turkey’s southern Gaziantep province, killing seven people and injuring 16, Turkish officials said on Sunday.
The crash occurred on the road that connects the two cities, according to the Interior Ministry. Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi said one of the injured remains in critical condition.
Emergency services from the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the gendarmerie, health services and the fire department were dispatched to the scene. They attended to the wounded and carried out response operations at the crash site.
