Botim has launched a partnership with GCash that allows users in the United Arab Emirates to send remittances directly to GCash wallets in the Philippines. The integration, announced on 28 September 2026, aims to give Filipino families in the UAE a faster and more seamless way to access funds for everyday expenses and financial services.

According to Botim, the service will benefit more than 60% of the Filipino community in the UAE, which numbers 548,000 verified users on the platform. Botim also reported that its transacting user base grew 115% and that remittance value to the Philippines rose 145% year‑on‑year during the first eight months of 2026.

GCash, which has over 94 million registered users, said the partnership expands the ways Filipinos in the UAE can support families at home. “By enabling direct wallet access, we are making remittances more seamless, more relevant and better integrated with the broader financial needs of Filipino households,” Jonathan Que, GCash International General Manager, told Gulf News.
