Umm Al Quwain‑based powder‑coatings producer Qemtex Chemical Holding announced that its plant is operating at full capacity less than two years after starting production, according to Gulf News.
The company said it is reviewing an investment of up to Dh40 million to add production capacity, upgrade equipment and strengthen technical capabilities. The potential spend aligns with the UAE’s Operation 300bn industrial strategy and the Make it in the Emirates initiative.
Qemtex highlighted strong demand from GCC real‑estate and infrastructure projects, noting that Dubai recorded 937 real‑estate projects under construction in 2025, a 25 % rise year‑on‑year per Dubai Land Department data.
CEO Chingiz Ibragimov said reaching full capacity quickly shows customer confidence and that any expansion will be guided by market demand. The firm will disclose details once plans are finalised.
