Hyderabad – BJP Telangana president N. Ramchander Rao on Saturday accused the Congress of spreading a false narrative about the special intensive revision (SIR) of the electoral roll and dared Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to produce a single genuine vote that was allegedly deleted during the process. Speaking to party conveners, senior leaders and media panelists, Rao claimed the Congress alleged President Droupadi Murmu admitted to "vote theft" and said Gandhi had no proof. He listed historic instances of alleged Congress rigging, from the 1952 Dr. Ambedkar election to the 1975 Rae Bareli case, and warned that the party was using the Election Commission for political gain. Rao urged BJP workers to highlight the benefits of a clean roll and counter the "drama of lies" he said Gandhi continued after meeting the President.
