The Australian electronic collective The Avalanches have issued their fourth studio album, No Bad Memories, on 16 October 2026, according to Billboard.

What happened

The 52‑minute record contains 31 tracks and includes collaborations with Karen O, John Glacier, Jamie xx, Barry Can’t Swim, Rivers Cuomo and Mike Patton. A statement accompanying the release says the album examines “the magical intersection of advertising, memory and nostalgia,” focusing on how jingles, sonic logos and commercial sounds embed themselves in everyday recollection.

What was said

In the press release, The Avalanches said, “Our album No Bad Memories is out in the world today. We’re beyond grateful for the endless enthusiasm and love our music receives after all this time.” The group also commented on the visual for the track “I Give Everything I Have 2 U,” noting, “Working with our friend Haley on the visual for this song was such a thrill… a one‑take scenario with Haley trying to navigate the Shibuya traffic, a huge camera strapped to the outside of his windshield is not a bad memory indeed!”

How it came about

Led by Robbie Chater, Tony Di Blasi and Andy Szekere, the act follows a 16‑year gap between their debut Since I Left You and sophomore Wildflower, which topped the ARIA Albums Chart, and a 2020 release We Will Always Love You that won the Australian Music Prize. The new album arrives as the group prepares tour dates in the United States and continental Europe.
