A 14‑year‑old Indian‑origin student from Fulton County, Georgia, achieved a perfect 1600 on the SAT in June, according to Gulf News. Ashrit Talluri, a ninth‑grader at Innovation Academy, scored 800 in both Math and Reading & Writing after five months of preparation, including a tutor and over two dozen practice tests.

His parents, Taruni and Ramanaresh, moved to the United States from Andhra Pradesh in 2008. Talluri had already completed 14½ high‑school credits in middle school and attended summer programmes at Harvard and Rice universities. He registered for the SAT in January and worked through the test with calm breathing techniques, as he told FOX 5 Atlanta.

After the exam, Talluri’s family waited weeks for the unusually high score to be verified. The result was confirmed as 1600 out of 1600. He is now taking two college‑level courses through dual enrolment and is involved in chess, aviation, hackathons, and AI research.
