Speaking at a programme marking the death anniversary of Apna Dal founder Sone Lal Patel in Pratapgarh, Union Minister and Apna Dal (S) president Anupriya Patel said the BJP‑led National Democratic Alliance is on track to form the Uttar Pradesh government for a third straight term.

Patel urged party workers to mobilise fully for the upcoming assembly elections, insisting every vote should go to the NDA and that the alliance would strengthen its seat‑sharing arrangements with partners. She accused unnamed central and state leaders of neglecting backward‑class interests and warned that merely carrying a copy of the Constitution does not translate into power.

Patel highlighted her role in establishing a medical college in Pratapgarh, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi later renamed after Sone Lal Patel. The event was attended by Apna Dal (S) vice‑president Ashish Patel, other ministers, MLAs and senior party officials.
