Michael De Luca and Pamela Abdy are expected to leave Warner Bros. after the Paramount‑Skydance and Warner Bros. Discovery merger closes, Variety reported. Multiple sources told the outlet that the duo will not join David Ellison’s management team once the $110 billion pact is finalized on Oct. 6, 2026. The deal will place Paramount film heads Dana Goldberg and Josh Greenstein in charge of both studios, each slated to release 30 films per year. It is unclear whether De Luca and Abdy will stay on for a transition period. The news follows a renewal of their contracts announced a year earlier by WBD CEO David Zaslav after a string of box‑office hits.
