UAE ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said the government will announce the biggest change yet in how it provides services at a "major event" next month.
He cited a Boston Consulting Group survey that placed the UAE first in customer satisfaction for government digital services, with more than 75% of respondents believing the public sector outperforms private‑sector digital offerings.
The ruler noted recent AI adoption, including a plan announced earlier this year to have half of all services run on AI agents within two years, and a unified guide launched in August for designing services powered by Agentic AI.
A senior Ministry of Finance official later said the ministry is exploring Agentic AI to streamline procedures and reduce steps for both citizens and officials.
