Adams, 27, has earned 60 caps for the United States since 2017 and previously captained the side at the 2022 World Cup, guiding the team to the Round of 16. He began his club career with the New York Red Bulls, moved to RB Leipzig in 2019, spent a season at Leeds United, and signed a five‑year contract with Bournemouth in 2023, helping them finish sixth in the Premier League last season.
The USMNT is currently on a series of friendlies, having beaten Peru 4‑1 and Chile 4‑2, with upcoming matches against Mexico on Saturday and Canada on Tuesday.
