Donald Trump mocked Sen. Jon Ossoff’s campaign expenditures on makeup during a midterm rally in Dalton, Georgia, on Friday, saying the Georgia Democrat has spent more on cosmetics than any senator in history. "He goes full bore. He’s got the makeup artist. They’re in there all the time. I don’t know how he does it, but he spends a fortune," Trump told the crowd, adding that "the women aren’t happy about it." The claim references payments of almost $3,000 since February to makeup artist Stephanie Ponder, who has worked on films such as The Notebook and The Hunger Games. The New York Post noted that Ossoff’s campaign has not responded to requests for comment. Trump also joked about his own makeup habits, saying he applies only a little himself to avoid looking like "a dead person."
