Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan announced that his newly‑curated UNIFYD music festival in Abu Dhabi will include over a dozen additional Indian artists alongside headliners Arijit Singh and Karan Aujla.
What happened
The one‑day event is set for March 20, 2027 at Etihad Live on Yas Island. New acts confirmed are Jonita, Shalmali Kholgade, Patiala Mehfil, Simran Choudhary, Nooriyah, Curtain Blue, Tech Panda x Kenzani, Rusha & Blizza, Stick No Bills, BOH!B, Priyanka and Unnayanaa. Veteran singer Sonu Nigam will perform a special set, described by organisers as his first festival appearance.

The festival will host more than 15 performers across multiple stages. Ticket sales begin today, with an Emirates NBD cardholder presale at 9:30 am on the District app, followed by a general sale at 10:30 am the next day. Prices have not yet been disclosed.

“I’ve spent a lifetime telling stories on screen and watching them bring people together. Music has that same extraordinary power,” Khan told Gulf News.
“Indian music is already global. UNIFYD gives that cultural force a festival platform that matches its scale, ambition and influence,” said co‑founder Aryan Khan, reported by Gulf News.
How it came about
UNIFYD is produced by D’YAVOL Live and District in partnership with Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism, Miral and Emirates NBD. D’YAVOL Live, part of the D’YAVOL Luxury Collective, was co‑founded by Khan, his son Aryan, Leti Blagoeva and Bunty Singh. Organisers have hinted at future editions in other cities.
