“Real Housewives of New York City” star Sai De Silva told her aunt Sufia on Tuesday’s episode of the Bravo series that the breaking point in her marriage to David Craig was when he charged her birthday dinner to her credit card, according to Page Six.
What happened
De Silva, 45, recounted that Craig took her to an expensive restaurant for her birthday, then billed the meal to her card. When she saw the charge, she asked, “David! You made me pay for my own dinner? My own birthday dinner?” and said she realized the marriage was ending.
What was said
De Silva said Craig “liked the illusion of being my husband” and that the lack of affection made the relationship unsustainable. She added that an aggressive response when she mentioned divorce led them to separate. On “Watch What Happens Live,” she confirmed the couple are still in the process of divorce, which Craig filed for in April after nearly nine years of marriage. She also said co‑parenting is “not great.”
