Meta has released its camera‑free Ray‑Ban Meta Audio glasses on Amazon, with prices starting at $349, according to Mashable.
What happened
The new glasses come in two classic Ray‑Ban frames – Clubmaster and Burbank – and are sold directly through Amazon. Both models lack a camera, focusing instead on audio functions such as music playback, phone calls and voice‑AI interactions. The Burbank style weighs 43 grams, while the Clubmaster offers a brow‑line design. Battery life reaches up to 12 hours of mixed use or six hours of continuous audio.
What the reports add
Mashable notes that the removal of camera hardware allowed Meta to make the frames its lightest AI eyewear yet, and that the devices include an upgraded six‑microphone array that cancels over 90 % of background noise. The glasses support Meta AI via a touchpad on the temple or an assignable button, enabling tasks like flight reminders, calendar checks, navigation and real‑time translation in 20 languages.
