NYCFC chief operating officer Jennifer O’Sullivan led a media tour of the under‑construction Etihad Park on Oct. 17, 2026, outlining the stadium’s design features and the club’s commitment to affordable pricing ahead of its first match scheduled for July 17, 2027.

The new venue is being built on Seaver Way, adjacent to Citi Field in Queens, and will include a “City Square” food hall showcasing vendors from all five boroughs. O’Sullivan said the design aims to give fans a clear sense of place, noting, “It’s been so important to us because for 12 long years, we’ve been looking for our own home.”

Construction updates include seats already installed in the lower and upper bowls, a seven‑story LED‑lined entrance dubbed the “cube” that will serve 65‑70 % of fans, and a grass pitch that is expected to be completed before winter. The stadium is slated for overall completion next spring, with test events planned before the July 2027 opening.

Ticketing details remain limited; premium hospitality tickets are on sale, but general admission tickets have not yet been released. O’Sullivan emphasized the club’s goal of “making sure that there is an affordable price point for everybody,” adding that food quality in general admission areas will match that of exclusive sections.

Fans will be able to view the New York City skyline from the supporters’ porch, and the venue’s visual elements are intended to reflect the city’s character, according to O’Sullivan.
