Nick Bosa eyes return by Week 6 as 49ers face Seahawks
Bosa plans to stay in the Bay Area and work out, hoping to be back for the Seahawks clash.

San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa told reporters his chances of playing in the home game on Oct. 19 against the Washington Commanders are "pretty darn likely," according to the New York Post.
Bosa strained his calf two weeks ago while warming up for practice and missed the past two games. He has not participated in recent team drills but began light workouts a few days ago. The player will not travel with the squad to Seattle for the Sunday matchup with the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks, opting to remain in the Bay Area to continue his rehab.
If he cannot suit up on Oct. 19, the 49ers hope he will be available for the following week’s contest against the Atlanta Falcons on Oct. 25.
