Max Muncy says he’ll welcome any ghosts at Milwaukee’s Pfister Hotel

Muncy says a ghost won’t disturb him as the Dodgers prepare for the NLCS against the Brewers.

Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Max Muncy told reporters on Saturday that he is unbothered by the Pfister Hotel’s reputation for hauntings as the team stays there for the National League Championship Series against the Milwaukee Brewers. The Pfister, which opened in 1893 and has hosted every U.S. president since William McKinley, is said to be “spirited,” but Muncy replied, “If there’s a ghost there, come on in… I welcome them.” He added that he hopes any ghost is friendly and won’t disturb him. The Dodgers are in Milwaukee for the NLCS after sweeping the Atlanta Braves in the NLDS. Earlier, teammates Mookie Betts chose an Airbnb and Teoscar Hernández avoided the hotel during last year’s NLCS, but Muncy says the stories won’t affect his focus.
