Melbourne’s independent music powerhouse Mushroom Group announced on 30 September that its longtime headquarters at 9 Dundas Lane, Albert Park, is on the market, according to Billboard.
The 525 sqm freehold property, a former biscuit factory, includes three street frontages, about 1,080 sqm of building area across two main levels, a 100 sqm upper‑level office and a rooftop terrace. Marshall White, in partnership with Stonebridge and acting under instructions from Advise Transact, are handling the sale.
CEO Matt Gudinski, son of founder Michael Gudinski, said the site has been “an incredible part of Mushroom’s history and is globally renowned in the music industry.” He added that finding a “right custodian” for the address is important as the company looks ahead.
