Melbourne Magistrates’ Court heard video evidence of a December 2024 meeting at Flemington’s Mama Bear Cafe where construction executive Amir Teymoori allegedly threatened a developer’s manager with a $6.6 million demand. The court displayed footage of four men surrounding the executive, including Daniel Van Camp, Gazanfer Bekirovski and Travers Grubb.

During the meeting, Teymoori is heard saying, “I’m going to f--- you up and your family,” and later covering his mouth before shouting at the construction firm director. Van Camp, identified as the son of former union boss John Van Camp, removed his sunglasses and told the alleged victim, “This is not going away.” Bekirovski briefly spoke and tapped the manager’s arm, while Grubb remained silent.

All four men faced a two‑day committal hearing on charges of making unwarranted demands. Prosecutors allege Teymoori sought $6.6 million, claiming he could buy “industrial peace” for the victim’s company through the CFMEU. The construction firm denied ever hiring Teymoori, and police say his claim to be a union mediator is false.

Magistrate Stephen Ballek dismissed the charges against Van Camp, Bekirovski and Grubb, stating there was insufficient evidence they were complicit in Teymoori’s alleged threat. The case against Teymoori himself continues.

Additional video released by the court showed notorious ex‑bikie Jonny “Two Guns” Walker attending an October 2024 office meeting in Cremorne with Van Camp, Bekirovski and Teymoori as the latter pursued the alleged extortion. Walker has not been charged and was not mentioned in the hearing.
