Manchester United’s head coach said the club’s matchday squad for Sunday’s Premier League game at Elland Road will be stronger with defender Noussair Mazraoui back in training. “Yeah, it’s a little bit stronger,” he told Standard, adding that Mazraoui has done “a little bit of training” and will be around the group soon.
Former United midfielder Michael Carrick also praised Mazraoui’s return, noting the player was on the bench recently and that “a little bit of patience” is needed to get him fully match‑fit. Carrick said, “It’s great to have him around. He’s obviously a lot happier when being back around the group.”
