By Felo News Desk · Published
The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) announced on 1 October 2026 that the results for the Class 12 compartment, special and improvement examinations are now available.
What happened
Students who sat for the exams can view and download their provisional mark sheets from the council’s official portals – jacresults.com, jac.jharkhand.gov.in/jac or jacexamportal.in. Access requires the roll number and roll code assigned to each candidate. A PDF of the result appears after submission, which can be saved for future reference.
What the reports add
TimesNowNews detailed the step‑by‑step process for online retrieval and also provided an offline alternative: sending an SMS in the format “RESULTJAC12ROLLCODE+ROLLNO” to 56263 if the website is unavailable.
What was said
TimesNowNews noted that a candidate must secure at least 33 % in each subject and overall to be declared passed, and that the digital mark sheets are provisional. It added that students must collect the original certificates from their school authorities and contact the school administration for any discrepancies.
How it came about
JAC’s result release follows the council’s regular schedule for compartment examinations, a process previously covered by Felo News in its education round‑up on 28 September 2026.
