An Israeli air strike on a vehicle in Gaza City's Tuffah neighbourhood on Tuesday killed one person and wounded several others, Al Jazeera reported. The same day, Israeli forces wounded two journalists in the occupied West Bank – Palestine TV correspondent Khaled Mattawa was hit in the hand by a sound bomb and Sky News Arabia correspondent Firas Lutfi suffered a leg injury from shrapnel.
The Gaza strike came a year after a ceasefire was declared, with nearly two‑thirds of the enclave now under Israeli control or access restrictions, according to Al Jazeera's maps. The victim in the Tuffah attack has not been named, but the Palestinian news agency Wafa said a four‑year‑old boy, Osama Ahmed Abed, died of wounds from an Israeli attack three weeks earlier, bringing the Gaza death toll since October 7, 2023, to more than 74,382.
Gaza’s Civil Defence agency expressed deep concern over repeated forced displacement near the “Yellow Line”, the boundary set after the October 2025 ceasefire, citing “massive explosions” and “indiscriminate gunfire” that damaged tents and weakened homes. The agency appealed for urgent intervention to halt the war against civilians.
In the West Bank, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said a child was wounded with live ammunition in Ramallah and several Palestinians suffered tear‑gas suffocation. Israeli forces also raided the offices of several Palestinian NGOs and the courtyard of the Palestine Medical Complex.
