Guillermo Rodriguez told TV Insider that he and fellow "Dancing With the Stars" contestant Jackson Olson are friends, after Olson posted an apology on Instagram for a TikTok comment that offended fans.
Olson, a Savannah Bananas infielder, wrote, "To G and to all of you, from the bottom of my heart I am so sorry about my comment I made the other day and that it caused this much negativity," and attached a video of the two dancing to Hannah Montana’s "Nobody’s Perfect." He added, "I love this guy" with a red‑heart emoji.
Rodriguez replied, "We’re friends. We’re competing against each other, but we’re friends. We’re having fun. He’s a good guy," as reported by the Los Angeles Times. Olson said he spent 30 minutes in Rodriguez’s trailer to clear the air and emphasized their mutual respect.
