Nigel Farage says post‑election pact with Conservatives “extremely unlikely” but not ruled out

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage says a post‑election deal with the Conservatives is “extremely unlikely”, yet does not rule it out completely.

By Felo News Desk · Published

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage told the Press Association in Accrington that a pact with the Conservatives before the next election is “extremely unlikely”, but added, “After an election, who’s to say?” The comment follows Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch’s firm rejection of any alliance at the party conference two days earlier.

Farage also said the internal review of Reform’s funding, sparked by a Channel 4 News report, found no breach of electoral law and that the alleged £500,000 foreign donation did not occur. He announced that Reform will launch legal action against the production company Verbatim Investigations, which he said “clearly broke the law”.

He confirmed that two senior staff members – aide Dan Jukes and policy chief James Orr – remain suspended and that the matter has been reported to police. Farage also responded to a question about Prime Minister Andy Burnham’s EU stance with a sarcastic remark about “holding his jacket”.
