Dubai unveiled a 375‑metre air‑conditioned pedestrian bridge on Thursday, October 15, linking Etihad Rail’s Al Yalayis Station with the Dubai Metro’s Jumeirah Golf Estates Station on the Red Line. The enclosed walkway, equipped with moving travelators, escalators and staircases, enables commuters to walk between the two hubs in roughly five minutes, eliminating the need for a taxi or road transfer. Etihad Rail released a video showing a traveller timing the crossing, which took about five minutes without using the travelators. A passenger in the video praised the comfort of the climate‑controlled route and the ease of transferring between the rail and metro networks.
