Disney announced that its Disney+ platform will stream the 2027 Super Bowl LXI in both English and Spanish, alongside a simulcast on ABC. The move marks ESPN’s first Super Bowl broadcast on Disney+ and adds two Monday Night Football games to the service later this fall.
Disney+ will also carry Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, featuring Ryan Seacrest, Rita Ora in New York, Julianne Hough and Rob Gronkowski in Las Vegas, and Druski hosting from Chicago.
The company says the strategy is to make the biggest live events widely accessible and to drive more users to its streaming and sports offerings.
