Daisy Edgar‑Jones says she may be slightly deaf in one ear after Twisters shoot

The star attributes the issue to debris and wind on the Oklahoma set, as discussed on Jake Shane’s Therapusspodcast.

Daisy Edgar‑Jones told Jake Shane’s Therapusspodcast that she might be "slightly deaf" in her left ear after filming the 2024 action‑adventure thriller Twisters, directed by Lee Isaac Chung.

She said the windy Oklahoma location forced the crew to pause production for real storms, then recreate them, exposing her to "so much debris and wind" that entered from a sharp left. "It was a windy shoot. It was quite ironic because we were shooting in Oklahoma and often would have to shut down filming because of an actual wind storm, to then recreate a wind storm once it’s passed," she explained.

Edgar‑Jones also recalled becoming "addicted" to stunts during the production, praising the stunt department for keeping her safe amid the battered conditions.
