The drive focuses on the Hyderabad‑Rangareddy‑Mahbubnagar and Warangal‑Khammam‑Nalgonda constituencies, where the current Graduate MLCs Surabhi Vani Devi and Chintapandu Naveen Kumar (Teenmar Mallanna) will finish their terms in March 2027. The Election Commission of India opened the enrolment process on 28 September, with the last date for Form‑18 applications set for 6 November and the draft voter list to be published on 25 November.
Congress has formed special teams across all six undivided districts of the two constituencies and is operating a control room at Gandhi Bhavan to monitor daily progress. Party MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, overseeing the Warangal‑Khammam‑Nalgonda effort, said graduates must re‑enrol even if they appeared on earlier rolls, making the task challenging.
The party is also involving in‑charge ministers and MLAs after the special intensive revision (SIR) process ends in early November, while local leaders and prospective ticket aspirants are already contacting eligible graduates and sharing registration links.
