Callum Turner arrived at Bray Studios in Berkshire on Friday to begin screen tests for the next James Bond, according to dailytimes.com.pk.

The actor, known for his role in the Fantastic Beasts series, joins other shortlisted performers such as Jack Lowden, who stars in Slow Horses, and Josh O’Connor of The Crown. The tests will allow producers to assess stunt work, camera presence and dialogue delivery.

Producer Amy Pascal said the casting process is being taken slowly, noting the difficulty of replacing Daniel Craig. The new Bond film will be directed by Denis Villeneuve, and if a lead is chosen by year‑end, filming could start in 2027.
