Reese contributed 15 points and seven rebounds, while Allisha Gray led the team with 22 points on 8-of-18 shooting. The Dream never trailed, opening the first quarter with a 17-8 lead and extending the margin to double digits early in the second quarter. They led 41-28 at the half and maintained control through the third, entering the final period up 65-58. In the last ten minutes, Atlanta outscored Washington 28-17 to close the game.
Statistically, the Dream recorded 23 assists and limited turnovers to eight, while also forcing 10 steals and four blocks. The victory sets up a semifinal matchup against the New York Liberty.
