ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. placed Texas quarterback Arch Manning at No. 24 overall and No. 6 among quarterbacks on his 2027 NFL Draft board, according to the New York Post.

Kiper wrote that Manning’s “inconsistent” play makes evaluation difficult, noting a 63% completion rate, 1,122 passing yards, 10 touchdowns, five interceptions and 174 rushing yards. He ranked Manning ahead of Oregon’s Dante Moore but behind Oklahoma State’s Drew Mestemaker, Miami’s Darian Mensah, Ole Miss’s Trinidad Chambliss, Notre Dame’s CJ Carr and Missouri’s Austin Simmons.

Kiper added that Manning’s stock could rise with a strong finish to the season, as Texas faces four ranked opponents in the next five weeks.
