The robbery involved two vans, an alarm shutdown and an estimated five to six thieves.

Gulf News reported that thieves stole roughly 30,000 bottles of Marchesi Antinori wine from an export warehouse in central Italy, valued at about five million euros ($5.6 million). The robbery took place last weekend, with the alarm deactivated and the theft discovered on Monday.
The stolen labels – Tignanello, Solaia and Guado al Tasso – sell for €120‑€300 or more per bottle, depending on vintage. A company representative, who asked to remain unnamed, told AFP that the heist may be the largest ever in Italy and that the wines are among the winery’s most iconic, prized by collectors.
Two vans were used, and the company believes five or six people were involved. The incident follows a previous theft of 3,000 Barolo bottles in Piedmont last month.
