Abu Dhabi Launches Dh100 Billion LIVEX 2026 Liveability Exhibition

The inaugural LIVEX 2026 exhibition opened at ADNEC Abu Dhabi, featuring 25 sessions and attracting more than 20,000 participants, including 1,500 investors and 100+ speakers.

Abu Dhabi opened the three‑day LIVEX 2026 exhibition on Tuesday at ADNEC, drawing over 20,000 visitors from 50 countries, including 1,500 investors and more than 100 international speakers. The event, which showcases projects and initiatives worth over Dh100 billion across several sectors, was inaugurated by Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport.

Al Shorafa said the launch of LIVEX 2026 extends Abu Dhabi’s vision of placing people and their quality of life at the heart of development. He highlighted the city’s integrated ecosystem approach, combining infrastructure, mobility, services, health, education, culture and economic opportunities to attract talent, businesses and investment.

The exhibition will explore initiatives ranging from residential neighbourhoods to mobility, public spaces and services. Al Shorafa noted that the second phase of the emirate’s Lifestyle Strategy has received Dh42 billion, building on the first phase’s Dh12 billion investment that raised the average integration of residential neighbourhoods from 67 % in 2023 to 81 % in 2025.
