In the third weekly Big Ticket e‑draw of September, four expatriates in Abu Dhabi won Dh25,000 each, Gulf News reported on 28 September 2026. The winners – Ayyalu Samy from Tamil Nadu, India; Abul Bashar, a painter from Bangladesh; Mohammed Shahadat Hussain, a sales executive from Bangladesh; and Eldho Mathew from Kerala, India – had each purchased tickets either alone or with groups of friends.
Samy said he had bought his ticket by himself and chosen the number at random, and he plans to send his share to his family in India. Bashar, who has lived in Sharjah for 34 years, will split his portion between his family back home and a charitable donation. Hussain, who has lived in Abu Dhabi for 16 years, will send his share to Bangladesh and intends to play more often. Mathew, who works in Kuwait, was introduced to the game by friends and also plans to continue participating.
