Sportskeeda outlined three WWE rumors circulating ahead of the upcoming Crown Jewel event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The outlet said the promotion may elevate women’s‑division talent Roxanne Perez, is considering bringing back former champion Drew McIntyre, and has received no reports of moving the Crown Jewel show to another city.
What happened
After Money in the Bank 2026, WWE’s next premium live event is Crown Jewel 2026, scheduled for Riyadh. The promotion has already announced Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn and Liv Morgan vs. Chelsea Green for the Crown Jewel championships. In the meantime, online speculation has produced several rumors that fans are tracking.
What the reports add
Sportskeeda reported that Roxanne Perez, who pinned Women’s Champion Chelsea Green on RAW after losing the 2026 Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, may receive a title shot soon. The outlet cited unnamed reports that Triple H‑led creative has big plans for Perez heading into WrestleMania 43, positioning her as a baby‑face challenger.
The same source said that backstage discussions about former World Champion Drew McIntyre’s return have begun, with a belief that his presence would benefit RAW more than SmackDown.
Finally, the outlet referenced PWInsider and a tweet from Bryan Alvarez, noting that WWE has not discussed relocating Crown Jewel out of Riyadh, although a backup U.S. city is reportedly on the table. The decision, according to the report, rests with TKO CEO Ari Emanuel.
What was said
Sportskeeda quoted no direct statements from WWE officials; instead it paraphrased “reports” that Triple H‑led creative wants to push Perez, that “backstage discussions” favor a McIntyre return, and that “no conversations” have taken place about moving Crown Jewel.
How it came about
The rumors follow the recent Money in the Bank event, which sparked a wave of speculation covered by Felo News in a October 10 article about WWE rumors surrounding injuries, a potential WrestleMania venue and a Drew McIntyre return. Earlier Felo pieces have tracked Roman Reigns’ storyline developments and the promotion’s plans for upcoming shows, providing context for why fans are watching these particular rumors.
