Robert Kelker‑Kelly, 62, the longtime "Days of Our Lives" actor, died suddenly of cardiac arrest at his St. Peters, Missouri home on Oct. 3, according to a police report obtained by Page Six.
What happened
Kelker‑Kelly’s wife, Allison Kelly, picked him up from St. Louis’ Spirit Airport around 7:30 p.m. and they were driving home when he began feeling chest, neck and left‑arm pain. He returned to their bedroom, where he became unresponsive. The St. Charles County Ambulance District arrived at about 8:16 p.m., found him not breathing and began CPR. Paramedics pronounced him dead at 9:09 p.m.
What the reports add
The police report notes Kelker‑Kelly was lying on his back with his head facing east and wearing a black tee shirt and grey boxers. It records that Allison Kelly called 911 and performed CPR until responders arrived. Division chief Kyle Gaines of the ambulance district said first‑responders used advanced life‑saving protocols but could not revive him.
What was said
A St. Peters Police Department spokesperson told Page Six, "A police report was completed, as is standard in all sudden death investigations." Kyle Gaines told Page Six, "First responders and paramedics responded to a call … for an adult male patient for a cardiac arrest. … Unfortunately, the patient was pronounced deceased on scene."
