The Prince and Princess of Wales visited Sir Kevin Sinfield at Wakefield’s DIY Kitchens Stadium on Thursday, the third day of his seven‑day ultra‑marathon to raise funds for motor neurone disease (MND) charities, Independent.co.uk reported.

William joked with families living with MND about fearing a call from Sinfield to join a run, while Kate described his work as “so inspiring – the unity that you’re building.” Sinfield replied that he had been dreaming of an ice bath all day. The royal pair also chatted with Rob Burrow’s children, who were present to welcome the rugby league legend.

Sinfield’s “7 in 7: The Grand Finale” venture, inspired by his friend Rob Burrow, has raised more than £11 million for the MND community since its inception in 2020. He began the challenge on Sunday in Hull and is scheduled to finish at Old Trafford before the Super League Grand Final.
