Peak XV Partners sold over 12 Lakh Awfis shares at ₹245 each, reducing its holding to less than 50% amid a sharp share price decline.

Peak XV Partners Investment V sold 12.2 Lakh shares of coworking provider Awfis in a bulk deal valued at roughly ₹29.8 cr, according to inc42.com. The shares were priced at ₹245 each, a 0.9% discount to the previous closing price.
Buyer Kritagyata Trust purchased 11.5 Lakh of those shares at ₹244.97 apiece, paying ₹28.2 cr. The remaining shares were absorbed by undisclosed investors. The transaction cut Peak XV’s stake in Awfis to below 50%, down from a 3.24% holding of 23.2 Lakh shares at the end of June 2026.
Awfis’s stock has been volatile, falling more than 58.6% over the past year and hovering near its 52‑week low of ₹229.55. Nevertheless, the company reported a 140% jump in net profit to ₹24 cr in Q1 FY27 and a 27% rise in operating revenue to ₹424.9 cr. The firm now operates 251 centres, about 1.7 Lakh seats, and 84 Lakh sq ft of chargeable space.
